1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am for sale in Dayton, Ohio

ATTENTION TRANS AM FANS AND COLLECTORS BLAD BOYS MUSCLE CARS IS PROUD TO OFFER THIS VERY RARE, COMPLETELY DOCUMENTED 1978 TRANS AM FIRE BIRD WITH A TOTAL OF ONLY 77 ACTUAL MILES !!!! Pontiac was an automobile brand that was established in 1926 as a companion make for General Motors' Oakland. Quickly overtaking its parent in popularity, it supplanted the Oakland brand entirely by 1933 and, for most of its life, became a companion make for Chevrolet. Pontiac was sold in the United States, Canada, and Mexico by General Motors (GM). Pontiac was marketed as the performance division of General Motors for many years, specializing in mainstream performance vehicles. Pontiac was relatively more popular in Canada, where for much of its history, it was marketed as a low-priced vehicle. On April 27, 2009, amid ongoing financial problems and restructuring efforts, GM announced it would discontinue the Pontiac brand by the end of 2010 and focus on four core brands in North America: Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick, and GMC. The last Pontiacs were built in late 2009, with the final dealer franchises expiring October 31, 2010. With the closing of Pontiac, the Collector Car industry has stood up and noticed. The value of these wonderful cars has grown even during a down turn in the country’s economy. Along with the GTO, the Trans Am is the most desireable models to have in a collection. This particular Trans Am is something that cannot be duplicated anywhere in the world. This beautiful second generation WS6 T/A is a time capsule that all other 1978 Trans Am will be compared to. There is nothing on the car that wasn’t on her when it left the factory besides adding additional fuel. This fully documented all original piece of history has only 77 original miles showing on her as it sits in our climate controlled showroom and is quite shocking in it’s originality. The owner of this car has taken every measure to retain every piece of literature, Bill of Sale, Protecto Plate, Build Sheet and every other piece of paper including the safety tag on the emergency flashers. There is not one service receipt only due to the fact that it has never been serviced due to it’s hibernation in the owners collection. Noting that it still has the original factory plastic on the seats gives it somewhat of an intimidation factor even trying to sit in the drivers seat. The color combination of Martinique Blue with Blue interior makes the combination as rare as the odometer reading. She was packed with almost all the available options offered from Pontiac and everything is still in fully operational shape. Some of the options shown on the window sticker include: Bucket Seats Air Conditioning Console Gauges, Rally & I/P Tach & Clock Mats Front and Rear Power Disc Brakes, Front Delco AM/FM 8 Track Rear Deck Spoiler Tilt Wheel Trans Am Performance Package 6.6 Litre (400) 4 BBL V-8 Engine Pontiac Special Handling Package Custom Velour Seating. Reference the picture of the window sticker for the complete list. Pictures and my words can only describe the originality of this history book on wheels. The purchase of this car is almost guaranteed to increase in value considering the chances of finding a car to compare it to in it’s pedigree and mileage. We are currently showing it in our building in Dayton, Ohio and invite you to make an appointment for inspection. Please give us a call today.
